Becoming a Representative
Avon is a worldwide leader in beauty. You'll be selling high quality, great value Avon products backed by a no quibble guarantee. You'll be one of over 160,000 Avon representatives in the UK. Their Breast Cancer Crusade has raised over £11 million for UK breast cancer charities since 1992, and they offer great ways to earn extra money. There are two types of representatives, `friends & family`, and `territory`. Friends and family representatives sell to friends and family, just as the name suggests. This may also include work colleagues, and generally anyone you come into contact with on a personal basis. Territory representatives sell to all of the above and also to an assigned road, either your own road, or if already covered, the nearest available road. All representatives are self employed, therefore responsible for paying Tax and National Insurance on all your earnings. Once your order reaches Minimum Order Value (MOV), which is currently £76, you will earn up to 20% discount on your customers orders up to £145. Orders that total over £145 you will receive up to 25% discount on your customers orders. Please note that there are certain items that have a fixed commission rate, but these will be notified in advance. In addition to this you have the opportunity to purchase discounted products for you and your family. Your orders will be delivered to you free of charge, as long as they are placed on time. There is no initial outlay to become a representative, but there is a registration fee currently £15, which is payable in two instalments of £7.50 this is included on your first two invoices. The only other outlay you will subsequently have, is the purchase of brochures and bags. Although for your first two campaigns, you will be given brochures to get you started. There are 18 campaigns in an Avon year, with orders being placed every three weeks. This can be submitted on a paper order form or on line. If becoming a representative appeals to you, please contact me, using the contact form or any of the contact details on this website.
